Adding a financial statement
In the list of financial statements, click [Add]. A financial statement form will be opened.

Mandatory fields:
Symbol – financial statement symbol
Name – financial statement name
Other fields:
Description – used for entering additional information about the defined financial statement
Show full item numeration – if checked, selected numeration will be fully presented in the statement calculation
Financial statement form contains also a list of statement periods.
Each financial statement must be also assigned to one of the available periods. To assign such period, click [Add] in the Periods button group. Calculation periods form will be opened.

Mandatory fields:
Name – statement period name
Periods – available options:
Any – if selected, it is possible to determine any range of dates. In case of this option, the period, a statement items are to be calculated for, must be specified in field To and From. It is not necessary in case of the other options
Opening Balance – this option is generally used in the balance sheet statement. It is active only if book accounts are assigned to particular statement items by function: Dr Balance, Cr Balance, Ending Balance
Current Month – calculation method depends on accounting functions used in definition. If accounts are assigned by balances, the system will calculate accrual values from the beginning of the accounting period, including the balance in the OB. If accounts are assigned by activity, it will be possible to calculate the values on the basis of journal entries from the current month
Previous Month – if accounts are assigned by activity, the system will calculate the values only for the previous month. If they are assigned by balances, the values will be calculated on the basis of journal entries from the beginning of the accounting period to the last day of month preceding the current month, including OB
Current Period – current accounting period. If selected, all journal entries of the current accounting period will be included
Previous Period – previous accounting period. If selected, all journal entries of the previous accounting period will be included
Accounting Period – this option allows the user to select any accounting period defined in the system
Today – if selected, all entries from the current day will be included
Yesterday – if selected, all entries from the previous day will be included
Current Week – if selected, all entries from the current week will be included
Previous Week – if selected, all entries from the previous week will be included
Show percentage column – if checked, a column, presenting percentage share of each statement item against the entire statement, will appear in statement calculation form
Upon adding the time range, click [Save] in the menu.
Another statement period will appear in the statement periods list.
