Editing/adding an amount to an opening balance item
After editing an amount, it is possible to view the details of the amount. Below are the following fields available in the amount edit form:
Amount – shows the account selected in tab Opening Balance Item
Customer – shows the name of the entity if selected in tab Opening Balance Item
Posting Date – displays the document’s posting date entered in tab Opening Balance Item
Document Date – date of the document associated with a given amount
Payment Form – the payment form selected in this field is specified for the amount of the opening balance item
Amount DR – this value can be entered manually or with the use of the arrows
Amount CR – this value can be entered manually or with the use of the arrows
Document Number – number of the document associated with the entered amount of the opening balance item
Due Date – date of entering the amount into the system
After specifying all the parameters regarding the entered amount and clicking [Save], the record will appear on the list of amounts.
Note: The system does not allow for the deletion of items from the level of a confirmed opening balance document.
Note: Entries in AOB and AOBC do not generate payments and clearings. Payments and clearings are generated by entries from OB and OBC.
