Trade components configuration
In this tab, there are the following options available:
Default customer group
This option allows for the selection of a default group of customers in the system.
Default vendor group
This option allows for the selection of a default group of vendors in the system.
Default item group
This option allows for the selection of a default group of items in the system.
Sale of missing items
If checked, it is possible to issue a sales document with items which are not in stock. Such trade document can be saved as unconfirmed only.
Default method of collecting resources
This option provides three methods of collecting resources from a warehouse: FIFO (First In First Out), LIFO (Last In First Out), and AVCO (Average Cost).
Control margin on acquisition price
If checked, then during the sale of items, the system will control the minimum margin that will be calculated on acquisition price. Otherwise (if this parameter remains unchecked), the system will control the margin calculation on purchase price.
Tax system in the USA
This option needs to be checked when calculating tax for companies operating in the United States.
Enable payment confirmation
If checked, the payment confirmation window will be opened after each sales transaction.
Show separated customers and vendors
If checked, the entities registered in the system will be presented on two separated lists of customers and vendors. The relevant icon references to these two lists will then appear on the main menu. The two lists function the same way as the standard list of customers/vendors, except that they are filtered to the appropriate entity type.
Margin calculation method
Possible options are: On sales price and On purchase price
Check the uniqueness of barcodes
This option enables the verification of the uniqueness of barcodes. In case of the repeated barcode, the appropriate message will be displayed
