Completing payment from the level of the customer and vendor payments

 

There are three ways of completing documents from the list of open receivables, payables and transactions associated with business entities:

 

1. By clicking on the button [Complete Marked]

In order to complete a given payment from a given transaction, mark the appropriate documents on the list and click on the button [Complete Marked] available in the Payments button group. You will be then automatically directed to the Payment Summary tab where you can see which transaction was completed from which payment and the amount of that completion. After the two elements are combined, they will appear on the list of receivables and payables and on the list of cash-bank transactions as applied.

Information displayed in the Payment Summary tab is the following:

2. By clicking on the button [Complete]

In order to complete a particular payment or transaction, on the list of payments and transactions, mark the appropriate document and click on the button [Complete]. Clicking on that button opens the list of all open transactions (in case of completing a payment) or payments (in case of completing a transaction). After selecting a proper transaction or payment, click on the button [Combine]. Fully completed transaction or payment receives the status Applied.

3. By clicking on the button [Pay]

The process of completing receivables/payables by clicking on the button [Pay] is the same as from the level of an invoice. Clicking on that button opens the list of open transactions of particular entity and then or directly the form of cash receipt confirmation from the level of which it is possible to fully or partially complete the payment (receivable/payable) by creating automatically a CD or CW transaction.
