List of price lists
Price lists contain information about both active and inactive price lists. All saved information can afterwards be used to enter quickly the data e.g. on item card, in trade documents.
Price lists contain prices of a given type for items. They group prices of various items within the same price type, including its expiry date.
The system enables to define price lists both for receipt and release documents. That is why, they can be accessed from two levels: Sales component and Purchase component. Sales component contains price lists for released items and Purchase component – price lists for received items.
Note: Price lists can be defined for documents of both release and receipt type.
Price lists are displayed upon selecting Price Lists for Release Items/Price Lists for Received Items from the Sales/Purchase tab.

Functions available for price lists
Below are the following buttons for maintaing the list of price lists and the form of price list:
Price List Activation – activates price list (available also from the level of the price lists window). Price list may contain as many elements as many items there are in the system. Thus, defining a price list can take a very long time. The user can, however, save entered changes and modify the prices repeatedly until the price list is complete. Thus, the price lists can have several statuses (displayed in the Status column):
Created – such price list is not taken into consideration while selecting price on a release document. Price list creation is still in progress and prices can be modified.
Confirmed – price list definition is complete and such price list is taken into account while selecting price on a release document. Price list can be activated by clicking [Price List Activation] on the price list form.
Inactive – expired price list. It is not considered while selecting price on a release document. Price list can be deactivated by clicking [Price List Deactivation] on the price list form or on the list of price lists.
Price List Deactivation. A new price list can be generated on the basis of an inactive price list. Inactive price list cannot be modified, if it was created as a result of calculations made on the basis of another price list or delivery price. In such situation, its values are “frozen”.
Note: Only one price list can be active simultaneously for the same price type and the same item.
