Loyalty program
The loyalty program in Comarch ALTUM system is composed of a developed point-based system. The application provides the sale of merchandises in the point—based system which purpose is to attract and win regular customers. The points can be both positive and negative.
Beside the subtotal and total prices, a merchandise, in each price list, has an additional attribute – Points. This attribute allows the user to specify the amount of positive and negative points which will be given to a customer when purchasing a given merchandise. The system allows also the specification of amounts with 0 points, with a pool of points both increasing and decreasing the amount of points in the customer form.

The points are summed up in the customer form. A newly registered customer does not receive any points. The customer’s total points is zero. During sales transaction, the customer receives such amount of points that is specified in a price list used in the transaction. A customer may not have negative points. The lowest amount of points in the customer form is zero.

Note: Negative points are counted already during reservation of an item, that is while saving a document. Positive points are counted during confirmation of an invoice.
Points calculation
A customer may use gathered points by purchasing items for points. In Comarch ALTUM system this is possible by defining appropriate price lists for released items with negative points. Purchasing of items at lower prices defined in a price list with negative points, will be decreasing at the same time the customer’s points.
Note: The number of the customer’s points cannot be negative. If the customer has used all the points and a quantity correction, increasing the number of points on the customer form, has been generated, the points will be deducted up to a maximum zero points on the customer form.
